I have arrived in beautiful Ennis, Montana, a mere 4941 feet above sea level, and my first time below a mile since Denver. I started today at 6600 feet in West Yellowstone, and followed the Madison River downstream all day. It's been a terrific day - air full of delicious oxygen, cool weather, wind at my back, descending through a canyon at 30 mph - this is the life!
