I stopped to make a sandwich at Lolo Hot Springs, just short of the Lolo Pass summit. A guy there told me to look for a trailhead at Idaho mile marker 142, and follow it in to some undeveloped hot springs.
So, my travelling companions (more on this later) and I hiked up the trail, and what we found was hot water bubbling up out of the ground, flowing down some rocks, and in to a pool that someone had created with some rocks and cement. It was crowded, but I went back the next morning and had a nice solitary soak. One of the coolest things I've seen so far.
